Everyone’s obsessed with followers.
But does having 10,000,000 followers equal making 10,000,000$ in revenue each month?
It doesn’t.
Don’t get me wrong…
More followers can be good.
But it’s rarely the best way to make more money.
Think about it.
You have to think about efficiency too.
You can make $1 per 1,000 subscribers.
You can also make $1 per 1 subscriber.
That begs the question:
How do you make more money per subscriber?
Simple.
By staying closer to the cash.
The closer you are to the money in any transaction, the more of it you make.
Let me explain:
With ads:
1. you get the attention
2. you share that attention with an advertiser YouTube picks
3. the advertiser tries selling to your audience
4. the advertiser sells & makes the money ← this is where the money is
5. you get a cut
With sponsors it’s the same thing. You just have the chance to pick the advertiser yourself and take more of the cut.
But what if you were the one selling?
You’d make 100% of the money.
So take a skill you’re already good at.
Solve a problem for your audience.
(people buy things that solve their problems)
And sell it.
There has never been a better time to do so than now.
