Never use this type of CTA

You’re walking down the street and out of nowhere someone jumps out and slaps a flyer in your face.

“BUY THIS NOW! LIMITED TIME ONLY”

How rude, right?

That’s how most CTAs feel.

Too pushy. Too in your face. And honestly… A turn-off.

And they’re not just annoying. They often miss the point.

Nobody likes being told what to do… Especially when it comes to clicking through to a website or checking out a product.

And that’s a 100% gold double-plate guarantee to get fewer people to do what you want.

Because how you ask for things matters big time.

So…

How do you invite people without being an annoyance?

Simple.

You use a CTA that’s so gentle… It almost feels invisible. Like the “By the way” (BTW) call to action.

Here’s an example:

“Hey guys, I hope you liked the recipe. It’s one of my favorites.
And by the way, I have a free course on how to cook amazing recipes.
If you want to learn more, comment “Thebestrecepies101” below and I’ll send it to you.”

It doesn’t annoy. And it doesn’t feel like a hard sell.

Instead, it feels like you’re sharing something fun that’s happening around you.

And makes it super easy for your audience to engage.

Which is awesome ‘cuz your goal is to meet the person and talk to them to see IF you can help.
