Then there’s the chaos. Not enough staff to cover the high volume of customers.
There’s also the too many staff and not enough clients.

There is a world where all metrics can be optimised.

It’s the world where cafe owners implement the simplest of business ideas.

These are all questions I’ve rarely seen cafe owners ask let alone answer.

As a cafe owner by understanding your numbers and setting goals for them there’s hope.
That’s the pre-work done.
How about how to get there?
If you could choose 1 style of person to serve who would it be.

This is the art of choosing a niche audience and product.
This is common but only in the short term.
Once discovered the communications, promotions and products all have to be considering the needs of this niche audience. They are the priority.
We call this branding and brand culture.

Don’t just do it, become it intimately. Know all you can about your niche, their needs emotionally, what problems your products solve and how to continue providing it regularly for repeat custom.

The complexity of discovering your niche and servicing it has to be let go of. Stop trying to please everyone and find your focus group.
